The tour leader will pick you up from the hotel/preferred location and you will start your journey towards the North of Albania.

The first stop will be in Shkodra City. Shkodra, also known as Scodra or Skutari is one of the oldest cities in the Balkans. We will visit the castle of Rozafa, where the 2000 year old history of the city is hidden in the walls of the castle. After exploring the castle, you will do a small walking tour in the city center and then head for the Albanian Alps.

During the road by the Alps, you will have a few stops in locations with excellent panoramic views. The mountain formations there are breathtaking.

Finally, you will arrive in Theth Village, hidden from the outside world with more then 70 km of road deep into the Albanian Alps. The village was established 500 years ago and has it’s own laws called “The Kanuni”! You will visit the Church of Theth and the Reconciliation Tower while enjoying our walk around the village.

After reaching the end of the village, the car road comes to an end. The Blue Eye of Theth is found just 45 minutes away. You will follow the river into the forest. Before arriving in the end we will stop at several beautiful natural spots for a break. You can enjoy a nice dip in the crystal clear waters of the river. Finally, after a long journey you will arrive in the main destination, the marvelous Blue Eye of Theth.

After enjoying your time there, unfortunately it’s time to go back to Tirana…
